LEAD.IS promotes transformative and sustainable social justice change. LEAD seeks to develop and implement solutions to social problems by engaging different generations in a dynamic process which respects and melds experience and innovation. Strategic activities will include training workshops, seminars, public speaking, and fellowships to identify and develop leaders of all ages.

LEAD fellowships provide opportunities for present and emerging thought leaders to have time and financial support to research and develop ideas and theories. LEAD Fellows are mentored primarily by LEAD staff. LEAD will also arrange for meetings and consultations with selected individuals, who represent social justice organizations and movements.
